Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings has added Japan to its list of overseas markets. The Macau-based gaming equipment supplier is now targeting approvals in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Japan.
The company shared the update in its interim report. It described the three markets as the main focus of its current overseas licensing push.
In the UAE, Asia Pioneer Entertainment has already submitted an application to become a licensed supplier. The company expects a response during the second half of 2026.
If approved, the license would let the company supply electronic gaming equipment to casinos opening in the UAE.
In Singapore, the process looks different. Asia Pioneer Entertainment is working with its manufacturing partners to secure the licenses needed for their electronic gaming equipment products.
Japan is the newest addition to the plan. The company is applying for a supplier license there ahead of the country’s planned integrated resort openings.
No timeline has been given for decisions on the Singapore or Japan applications.
Macau Still Drives Revenue
Even with this overseas push, Macau remains the company’s dominant market by far. The region generated HK$33.34 million of the company’s total HK$33.94 million in first-half revenue.
That means Macau accounted for almost all of the company’s income during the period. Revenue for the six months ended June 30 rose 47.3% year-on-year.
Profit and total comprehensive income also grew. The company reported HK$2.3 million, up from just HK$24,959 in the same period last year.
Equipment Sales Boost Growth
The technical sales and distribution of electronic gaming equipment continued to drive growth. Revenue from this business rose 56.2% year-on-year to HK$30.1 million.
Asia Pioneer Entertainment expects new and replacement orders from Macau casino operators to continue supporting performance in the second half of 2026.
Those expected orders give the company a steady source of activity while its overseas applications remain under review.
The company’s plans go beyond equipment sales alone. It is also looking to distribute casino operations and gaming floor management solutions.
This would add new products and services on top of its existing electronic gaming equipment business.
The UAE, Singapore, and Japan applications are focused specifically on supplier access. The planned broader offering would cover casino operations and floor management separately.
As it stands, the UAE application is awaiting a decision expected later this year. The Singapore process continues through manufacturing partners, and the Japan application is moving forward ahead of planned resort openings in that country.
Macau continues to anchor the company’s business while these three applications work their way through regulatory review.
