Betano has been confirmed as an Official Tournament Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2026 for Europe and South America. The announcement was made on May 18, 2026, through a new partnership between FIFA and Kaizen Gaming, the parent company behind the Betano brand.
This deal marks the third time Betano and FIFA have worked together. The relationship between the two began in 2022.
Betano’s Growing FIFA Partnership
Back in 2022, Betano became the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA. That deal made Betano an Official Regional Supporter of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for Europe.
More recently, the company was confirmed as an Official Partner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The latest agreement extends that relationship to the biggest stage in world football.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted across three countries. Canada, Mexico and the United States will share hosting duties for the tournament.
The competition is scheduled to run from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, July 19. It will be the largest World Cup ever held.
For the first time in the history of the tournament, 48 national teams will compete. Previous editions featured 32 teams.
FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, Romy Gai, commented on the deal. He said FIFA was delighted to welcome Betano among the Tournament Supporters of the 2026 World Cup.
Gai pointed to what he described as a genuine commitment from Betano to sporting integrity. He said the company had found new ways to bring fans closer to the game over the past four years.
George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, also spoke about the partnership. He called it a proud milestone for everyone at the company.
Daskalakis said the World Cup is the ultimate intersection of sport and entertainment. He added that it reaches billions of people around the world.
Responsible Gaming and Fan Engagement Plans
As part of the deal, Betano will offer fans tools focused on responsible gaming during the tournament. These include features that let users set financial limits on their activity.
Users will also be able to manage their playing time through the platform. Round-the-clock customer support will be available throughout the competition.
Betano is also planning physical and digital fan engagement activations. These events will take place across Europe and South America during the World Cup.
Kaizen Gaming has received industry recognition in recent years. The company won the Operator of the Year award at the EGR Operator Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
It also received the Operator of the Year – Large award at the SBC Awards. These wins came before the latest FIFA partnership was announced.
Daskalakis said the company’s focus is now on delivering what he called a thrilling, innovative and secure experience for fans throughout the tournament. The FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on June 11 in North America.
