UFC CEO Dana White won a $1 million baccarat bet at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Sept. 29. He later said it was not the first time he had made a bet that size.
The hand was arranged by streamer SteveWillDoIt, whose real name is Stephen Deleonardis. Deleonardis posted a video of the session, which took place in a high-limit room.
Park MGM, an MGM Resorts property, approved $1 million wagers for both men. Each player could make only one bet, and they could not bet on the same side of the same hand.
Deleonardis went first and lost his $1 million hand. White then placed his bet and won with a 9 against the banker’s 8. In baccarat, the hand closest to 9 wins.
After the win, White made a rude gesture at a security camera to celebrate. UFC fighter Tommy McMillen also appeared in the video.
Deleonardis kept playing and recovered his losses. Multiple reports estimated he finished about $800,000 ahead. White can be heard in the video urging him to cash out.
A History of High-Stakes Play
White’s net worth is estimated by various outlets at around $600 million. He is well known as a high-stakes baccarat player.
He has claimed he won an estimated $26 million to $27 million at Caesars Palace between January and March 2024. During that run, he bet up to $350,000 per hand.
White also said a session at Fontainebleau Las Vegas in late June 2025 earned him about $1.2 million. He was betting roughly $300,000 per hand.
His approach is to bet large sums and leave only after winning three hands in a row. Wynn Las Vegas has reportedly refused to let him bet at his preferred limits because of his success.
White has also talked about losses. He said he once lost as much as $8 million in a single night at Caesars Palace before finishing ahead overall.
In September 2025, an unnamed source told Casino.org that White owed $25 million to $50 million in gambling debt to Red Rock Resorts. White called the story “pure clickbait” in comments to the Hollywood Reporter.
White has said that betting $1 million on a single table-game hand was a lifelong goal. In 2024, he told the Full Send podcast, “That’s my goal in life before I die.”
At the time, he said he did not expect any casino in the world to allow it. He had struggled to find venues willing to take bets that large.
The Bellagio Reveal
On Sept. 30, the day after the Park MGM win, White told MMA Fighting he had already done it once. “I bet a million before that at the Bellagio a few weeks ago,” he said.
He described that hand in detail. The banker first showed 7, while his side totaled 1. He then drew an 8 to make 9 and win.
White said he never posted video of the Bellagio hand. He called both wins “impossible” results, and both took place at MGM Resorts properties.
No public reporting has confirmed the exact date of the Bellagio bet. The hand was not widely known until White mentioned it to MMA Fighting.
