This is a simple theme that doesn’t need explanation of its features, with the exception of two specific moments:
Call-out Section
If you want to create a title or some important message to your visitors on your home page, you can navigate to Appearance → Theme Settings and add it to the “Callout” box. It will appear on your site just under the menu (or under the site title if you haven’t set a menu).
Slider
The Goa theme comes with built-in support for the Responsive Slider plugin. This means you just need to install it and create a few slides – they would automatically appear at the right place. The recommended width for the slide images is 740px. You can use any height (the demo slide height is 330px). Also, the theme uses its own, slightly different style for the slider control elements.
