Kyrgyzstan collected KGS443 million in gambling taxes between January and August 2026, according to data from the country’s Ministry of Finance. That amount equals about US$5.07 million.
The money came from several parts of the gambling sector. Physical casinos provided almost all of it.
Other sources included slot machines, simulators, sports betting, bookmakers, and online casinos. Each of these added smaller amounts to the total.
Physical Casinos Bring In Most of the Money
Physical casinos generated KGS422.7 million in gambling taxes over the eight months. That is roughly 95% of the total amount collected.
The casino share works out to about US$4.8 million. No other category came close to this level.
The data shows that land-based gaming remains the main source of gambling tax income in Kyrgyzstan. All other segments combined made up less than 5% of collections.
Slot Machines, Betting, and Online Casinos
Slot machines and simulators ranked second among all categories. They produced KGS13.9 million in taxes, or around US$158,000.
Sports betting and bookmakers followed with KGS4 million. That is equal to about US$45,000.
Online and virtual casinos recorded the smallest total of the categories listed. They generated KGS2.8 million, or around US$32,000.
While the online figure was small, it still counted toward the KGS443 million total. The ministry included it in its full breakdown of tax collections.
The figures cover the period from the start of January through the end of August 2026. They give a category-by-category view of where the country’s gambling tax money came from.
The Ministry of Finance data confirms physical casinos as the top contributor for the first eight months of the year. Slot machines, simulators, sports betting, bookmakers, and online casinos also added to the total.
