Odditt, a company that describes itself as a content engine for sports betting, has partnered with Optimove. Optimove provides engagement tools for iGaming operators and sportsbooks. The companies announced the partnership on Tuesday.
The goal is to help sportsbooks offer bettors wagers based on personal interests. This could include favorite teams, storylines, or specific players. The companies hope this approach draws in customers who don’t enjoy typical betting apps.
Meryl Serouya, senior director of global partnerships at Optimove, said the partnership adds a new layer to bettor messaging. She said Optimove already knows who to contact and when. Odditt’s technology can now shape the actual bet offered to that person.
How Odditt Got Its Start
Matt Bresler founded Odditt more than five years ago while attending Tufts University. He funded the early stages using money from a business he ran as a teenager.
Bresler first wanted to build more accurate odds for in-game betting markets. That part of the business still operates today. But after attending industry events, he noticed a gap in how companies viewed everyday bettors.
He said many bettors weren’t chasing complex strategies. Instead, they wanted small, entertaining wagers tied to games they already cared about. Bresler said this insight shaped the direction of the company.
Two years ago, Bresler hired Elaine Milardo as chief technology officer. Milardo spent seven years at DraftKings, where she became vice president of engineering for its data platform. Bresler said her hire helped move Odditt toward its current strategy.
Betflow’s Growth And What Comes Next
Odditt launched Betflow in 2025. The tool suggests single bets or parlays based on a bettor’s interests, including storylines, weather, or even team uniform colors.
Bettors can also choose whether they want a longshot bet or a safer one. Some describe their preferences using emojis. Betflow pulls from more than 25 years of sports data.
Since launching, Betflow has created over 1.5 million unique wagers. The tool covers more than 100 leagues worldwide and has served more than 6,500 users so far.
With the Optimove partnership, sportsbooks using Optimove’s marketing platform could soon offer these personalized bets to their own customers. Bresler said the product could launch before the NFL season begins.
Bresler said many Betflow users place bets in the $25 to $100 range. He said this shows real spending power among casual bettors.
A Pew Research Center study from last October found that 10% of adults had placed an online bet in the past year. That figure was up from 6% in 2022.
In June, Odditt was a finalist in the First Pitch competition at SBC Summit Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company did not win, but Bresler said the event gave Odditt visibility among industry peers.
Bresler, who relocated from Boston to Las Vegas, said Odditt will likely seek new investors later this year. He said the company needs to build out its commercial team as it expands partnerships across sports betting, daily fantasy, and prediction markets.
