Winning Asia Technology Macau Ltd is expanding beyond casino games and into AI-powered robotics for resort management. The Macau-based company, which has been supplying casino games and systems across Asia for close to two decades, has taken an investment stake in Aimo Robotics, a Hong Kong firm that builds robots for indoor and outdoor use.
Co-founder and CEO Alice Tang announced the move at G2E Asia 2026, the Global Gaming Expo Asia trade show held in Macau. She described the robotics segment as a new business line for the company.
What the Robots Actually Do
Aimo Robotics builds AI-driven robots already in use outside the gaming industry. The robots are designed primarily for security and surveillance. They can patrol areas, detect threats, perform facial recognition, and capture data for analysis.
But their use goes beyond just security. The robots can carry advertising on display screens while patrolling malls or public spaces. Some units can also answer verbal questions from resort visitors, effectively functioning as concierge assistants.
Tang said Winning Asia plans to use its AI back-end system to help casino resort clients analyze the data these robots collect. That data could eventually be used for a wide range of operational decisions, not just security.
This gives the company a second revenue stream alongside its existing gaming equipment business. Winning Asia has long been known for its slot management systems under the AGT brand and as a distributor for manufacturers including LT Game, Gambee, Euro Games Technology, and Jackpot Digital.
New Game Targets Younger Players and Tourists
At G2E Asia, Winning Asia also showed off AGT FishKing 8, a new multiplayer fishing game that supports up to eight players at once. Players use a virtual gun to shoot at on-screen fish, with customizable returns and multiple betting levels available to operators.
Tang said fishing games are popular in Asia because they are simple to understand. She noted that they also appeal to tourists who may not be traditional gamblers, pointing to the game’s visual appeal, sounds, and animation as early draws for potential buyers.
The company is aware that its core games — baccarat and slots — tend to attract players aged 40 to 50. Winning Asia is actively working to bring younger players in, which is part of why it is developing games with more interactive features.
The dual push into AI robotics and new game formats reflects where the company sees its growth coming from. On one side, it wants to become a technology partner for integrated resort operators. On the other, it wants to modernize its gaming catalog to reach a broader audience.
Winning Asia has not disclosed the financial terms of its investment in Aimo Robotics.
