Finnish iGaming platform provider Finnplay has signed a partnership with Happy Brands Finland. The new operator is preparing to enter Finland’s regulated online gambling market.
The deal was announced on October 7, 2026. It links a Finnish technology company with a Finnish operator ahead of a market change set for next year.
Happy Brands Finland has already submitted its application for a Finnish licence. The company plans to launch its sites once the regulated market opens in July 2027.
Happy Brands Finland Picks Finnplay’s Titan Platform
Happy Brands Finland will offer both betting and casino games. Its sites will be built on Finnplay’s Titan platform.
The Titan platform is already used across several licensed markets. Finnplay says it is designed to give players a secure and simple gaming experience.
This means the operator will rely on technology that is already running in other regulated markets.
Financial terms of the partnership were not shared in the announcement.
The operator has also signed a marketing partnership with a major Finnish real estate partner. The name of that partner was not disclosed.
The marketing agreement is expected to help Happy Brands Finland build its presence as it enters the market.
What the Companies Said About the Deal
Jaakko Soininen, Managing Director at Finnplay, said the company expects to become a major technology provider in the new Finnish market.
He added that the arrival of Happy Brands Finland strengthens Finnplay’s position as “the leading iGaming platform provider in the Nordics.”
Soininen also pointed to the Finnish background of both companies. He said this “guarantees that players can expect a genuinely localized and native gaming experience.”
Henrik Zilliacus, chair of the board at Happy Brands Finland, called the new regulated market “an exciting opportunity” for the company.
He said choosing the right technology partner was an important part of the company’s preparations.
Zilliacus said Finnplay’s Finnish roots, experience in regulated markets and Titan platform made it “a natural partner.”
“It is great to be building something new together using domestic expertise,” he said.
He said the company’s goal is to offer Finnish players a high quality and safe betting and casino service. He added that the service aims to build a sense of community and meet the needs of local players.
For now, Happy Brands Finland is waiting on a decision on its licence application. If approved, the operator plans to go live on Finnplay’s Titan platform when Finland’s regulated market opens in July 2027.
